Glazed interior, and left bare on the exterior, carved, textured, or slipped in light clay and scratched…a variety of finishes each sanded smooth. A great look for a bouquet or some branches (a flower frog or wire insert is a good bet) and fashionable for a houseplant (tip: set the plant inside instead of planting and let the pottery enhance the plants aesthetic and catch the drainage, a handful of moss to cover the less aesthetic plastic pot at the rim for a polished appearance and this makes it easier to switch plants out to repot as they grow bigger or…the other thing.) I also use these pots to hold napkins on the dinner table, hand towels in the bathroom, and sunglasses in the mudroom.

Measures 6 1/4” tall and 5 1/4” across at the rim. Each listing is for the particular pot. This one is made from groggy, coarse clay, with a pleasing rough texture even after sanding. The exterior is hand brushed in light clay slip, the interior is a black matte glaze. These are thrown at ease as a series of similar forms, each unique in shape and finish.

The glazes used are non-toxic and food safe. Washing by hand is recommended (but I put mine in the dishwasher). The bottoms of every pot are sanded smooth to protect your furniture.
